SHON-STEPHAN'S BIO
Shon-Stephan grew up with eclectic music influences from the start... listening to his grandfather's Indiana bluegrass banjo, Sunday's Southern Baptist gospel, & summers in Asbury Park, NJ sneaking into the Stone Pony to catch Bon Jovi and Cinderella. Through it all the rock, blues, and funk rang true.

He later moved to Arizona, founding groups like Turning Blue and the Live Blue Wire, while earning his music degree studying Jazz Guitar performance as ASU. This was around the attacks of September 11, and Shon-Stephan entered the Marine corps, serving for the next 10 years. All the time writing, composing and playing - his experiences and time in the woodshed are dynamic influences that have crafted his unique style, expressiveness and emotion on the guitar.

He left the service in 2012 and has returned to the stage and the studio composing songs, scoring for film, and providing guitar in a variety of gigs, recording sessions, and live performance venues. He released his first solo instrumental album in 2016 and his most recent Album ZoZoBra was recorded in Caracas, Venezuela 2019 and will be his Senior release pairing guitar with vocals for the first time.
